The Vibrant Works rebranding project transformed the identity of the 90-year-old non-profit, formerly known as San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind and Vision Impaired.
The organization has long championed equal opportunities and independence for blind and visually impaired individuals. The rebrand honored its compassionate legacy while introducing a bold, modern perspective that highlights the vibrancy and strength of people with low vision. By integrating ADA principles and fostering inclusivity, the rebrand increased awareness of Vibrant Works’ mission and set a new standard for accessible, impactful design.
One of the most impactful aspects of my contribution was designing and executing a 3D version of the logo. This tactile representation allowed visually-impaired clients to physically experience the rebrand, offering them a deeper connection to the organization’s new identity. The success of this presentation led to a special request for 3D logo keychains, enabling others to similarly engage with the new brand on a sensory level, bridging the gap between visual and non-visual identity.
